I’ve designed advertising for Studio Luxe for several years, which gave me a deep familiarity with their brand, their audience, and what their customers expect to see. Because of that history, I wanted this Readers’ Choice thank-you ad to feel noticeably different from previous years while still feeling unmistakably Studio Luxe.
I began by looking at current fashion retail advertising and noticing a visual approach that felt both modern and restrained: breaking imagery into clean vertical columns to highlight texture, silhouette, and color. The technique felt especially well-suited to Studio Luxe’s inventory, where fabric, shape, and detail are just as important as the garments themselves.
Using two featured dresses, I built the layout around strong vertical cuts that allowed each piece to stand on its own while still working together as a cohesive whole. The structure added visual interest without relying on heavy graphics or decorative elements. Instead, the dresses carried the design.
To balance the visuals, I paired the layout with bold “THANK YOU” typography and generous white space. This kept the message clear and celebratory while allowing the imagery room to breathe. The overall effect feels polished and fashion-forward, without overpowering the brand or the moment being celebrated.
The final design keeps the focus where it belongs: on the clothing, the customers who voted, and Studio Luxe’s Readers’ Choice win. By introducing a fresh layout approach rather than new colors or gimmicks, the ad feels current and elevated while remaining true to a brand I’ve worked with and refined over time.
